Investiture Ceremony in St. Xavier’s School, Mungeli

31^ST July’ 19, Mungeli, Leadership is an attribute which is identified from the beginning and school is the best place to identify and nurture it.

Following the tradition, St. Xavier’s Senior Secondary  School, Mungeli conducted Investiture Ceremony to make the students inculcate the habit the shouldering the responsibility & to hone a sense of duty.

The ceremony was graced by the Honourable Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Principal, Govt. Science College, Mungeli. The ceremony began with traditional and warm welcome to the chief guest by the escorting group with tilak  as a tradition. The programme headed forward with the     lighting of the lamp and taking the blessings of  almighty and holy soul of St. Francis Xavier’s and Goddess Saraswati  by paying tribute to their potrait. It was  a great moment to see two little children presenting welcome dance to honour the chief guests as his welcome  .Next was the wonderful welcome song by the choir group in order to welcome the guest. It was hilarious moment when the badges and sashes were donned. All the newly elected council members were distributed the duties in the form of badges and sashes. The Oath was administered by the chief guest Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh and the office bearers took the oath. Principal Mr. Sandeep Mishra blessed the students to be the bearers of the reputation and commit themselves for the grace of the institution. It was an exotic moment to hear the chief Guest with his beautiful poetic lines in order to guide the torch bearers to hold their responsibilities. The ceremony culminated with the speech of the Head Boy Tushar Kesharwani and the singing of national anthem.  Last but not the  least , the newly elected head girl miss Anuska Pandey presented vote of thanks showing her gratitude to the  chief guests as well as to the people behind the curtain.
